As a Security Professional - Government Site - Unarmed Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and providing excellent customer service to all individuals on site. This is a dynamic position that requires you to be proactive and approachable, responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also be responsible for monitoring alarm panels and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to document your activities. As this post requires driving, you will navigate the property to cover all assigned areas and support the overall security-related operations. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting any unusual conditions or concerns.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards observed during patrols.
- Assist visitors and authorized personnel with directions and access in accordance with site protocols.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, issues, or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports as required by site procedures.
- Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders when needed.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; experience preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
