Job Description

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol - Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be responsible for actively monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain highly visible to promote a sense of security, and respond to any security-related concerns as they arise. This position requires you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities. You will also interact with staff, visitors, and contractors, delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating strong communication skills. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the aerospace and defense location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity during patrols and report findings according to established protocols.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist with emergency response drills and participate in security-related training sessions as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
