System Engineer
Key Role:
Be responsible for a deep understanding of the complete lifecycle of electronic warfare (EW) threat assessment, including the identification, capture, and execution of comprehensive modeling and simulation and analyses to develop effective electronic countermeasures of EW threats. Ability to develop a deep understanding of the company's portfolio of electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) and EW modeling or simulation and analysis tools and capabilities. Possess expertise in the EMS and its use in modern weapon systems, and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) used in modern warfare employing the use of the EMS. Gain an understanding of customer organizations and identify key stakeholders involved in EW threat assessment and the standup of EW threat assessment laboratories. Perform market research and customer engagements to identify EW and EMS needs and corresponding government solicitations. Support and participate in technical and business discussions with current and future customers involved in the use of the EMS and identify opportunities for Booz Allen to provide innovative capabilities and engineering expertise to meet customer needs. Support proposal development and participate in the Booz Allen business capture process. Provide program execution management, oversight, and team leadership expertise in the conduct of tasks in support of the customer and the delivery of contractual deliverables.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- 3+ years of experience with command and control (C2) systems, operational TTPs of communication, EW, and EMS systems, EW threat assessment, techniques for EW countermeasure, development of and conduct of EW system training, USAF mission operational planning, wargaming, or modeling and simulation
- Experience with mission and OPLAN decomposition into tasks to define mission-level risk impact
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with a team of engineers, defense and intelligence analysts, scientists, and uniformed military members
- Ability to plan, conduct, and analyze research for mission risk assessments
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in intelligence analysis and developing adversary capability assessments or scenarios
- Experience in a military staff environment
- Experience with modeling and simulation
- Experience in briefing and delivering training to senior military and civilian leaders
- Experience using modeling and simulation tools to conduct assessments
- Master's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field
