Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Salary Range: $55 - $60/hr.
Introduction

We are seeking talented Systems Software Engineers to support the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) as part of the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team Program. In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of a layered Missile Defense System to protect the United States and its allies from missile threats in all phases of flight.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science
- 3 years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or 1 year with a Master's or PhD
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with Java or Java Spring
- Familiarity with the Agile software development process
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Security+, Security CE, or CCNA Security certifications
- Familiarity with Maven, Nexus, git, CI/CD, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash
- Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of Java-based mathematical algorithms for C2BMC
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including design artifacts, software changes, and testing
- Participate in agile planning and execution
- Develop and deploy integration and test processes, tools, and metrics
- Execute and document integration and test activities
