Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior IT Project Lead to play a key role in driving the execution of the strategic plan for technology capabilities of a Federal Law Enforcement customer. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex IT programs and projects, with a specific focus on integrating and leveraging emerging technologies throughout the organization.
Successful Senior IT Project Lead will be capable ofleading all development and implementation efforts, acting as the central point of contact when needed.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Successful Senior IT Project Lead will be capable ofleading all development and implementation efforts, acting as the central point of contact when needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to meticulously manage expectations and ensure all project goals are in perfect alignment.
- Identifying potential risks early on and implement effective mitigation strategies, developing robust response plans to safeguard project success.
- Regularly briefing executive leadership on comprehensive project status, critical risks or blockers and upcoming strategic initiatives.
- Has general Government budget and acquisition knowledge to support government leads internal investment projects.
- Clearly defining project scope, develops detailed execution plans, set achievable milestones, and efficiently manages all allocated resources.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality end products, meticulously closing out projects after conducting thorough post-project evaluations to finalize all activities.
- Ensuring quality assurance across the lifecycle of projects in accordance with Company and federal IT governance frameworks.
- Delivering strategic direction for all projects under their purview, prioritizing their sustained effectiveness and overall viability.
- Helping to build AI knowledge and to drive the technical implementation of AI & Emerging Technology solutions to ensuring alignment with overall IT and data strategy
- Applying project management best practices in line with FBI frameworks and industry standards
- Creating and executing outreach campaigns and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in data governance, strategic planning, and data management.
- In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
