Overview
Diverse Systems Group, LLC is seeking skilled professionals to provide support for the Lenel OnGuard Electronic Security System (ESS) at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Bethesda, MD. The team will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and configuring OnGuard hardware and software to ensure the system operates at peak performance in support of mission-critical security operations.
Job Summary:
Install, replace, and maintain OnGuard hardware as required.
Integrate third-party alarms and systems into OnGuard as a central repository.
Perform monthly audits and routine maintenance checks to ensure hardware operability.
Respond to hardware faults and coordinate fixes with system administrators.
Maintain up-to-date work order tracking databases, providing weekly and monthly reporting.
Provide emergency response support outside normal duty hours.
Oversee projects involving OnGuard upgrades, integrations, and database-level tasks.
Serve as the technical contact for the integration of third-party solutions into OnGuard.
Perform data entry and administrative tasks for badging, parking, and access requests.
Approve or deny access requests through OnGuard, ensuring compliance with security standards.
Supervise technicians and data entry specialists, ensuring quality and efficiency of work.
Provide training to new staff on operating security systems and troubleshooting issues.
Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain satisfaction of WRNMMC stakeholders.
Liaise with WRNMMC staff, vendors, and subcontractors to support maintenance and development projects.
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency with the Lenel OnGuard platform for configuration, troubleshooting, and administration.
Strong understanding of electronic security systems, intrusion detection, and access control.
Experience with database administration, report creation, and system audits.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, CAC/proxy cards, and alarm monitoring systems.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, including emergency requests, effectively.
Education/Experience:
LENEL certification required.
Prior experience supporting enterprise-level security systems.
Experience in physical security, system engineering, or related field.
Certification(s):
LENEL certification (mandatory).
Clearance:
Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Nice to have:
Experience with Milestone systems or other third-party integrations.
Experience with vendor coordination and subcontractor management.
Knowledge of forensic analysis and anomaly detection in security systems.
