KEY RESPONSIBITLITES:
- Preparing and transporting shipments.
- Completing documentation for Shipping Requests, Receipts, and OIS movements.
- Prepare ordnance and explosives for safe shipment or transport.
- Maintain Magazine storage inventory and proper documentation.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Must be able to pass a medical physical and obtain an Explosive Certification.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- Must be able to work in all seasons and within various conditions.
- Good communication skills.
- Capable of building and maintaining good customer relationships.
- Ability to learn, become proficient in, and work within the Explosive Qualification Certification Program at NSWC Crane.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with ordnance or explosives.
- Inventory management experience.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Previous shipping/receiving experience.
- CORP/OIS (Ordnance Information System) experience.
