Facility Manager

Torch Technologies is seeking a Facility Manager to join a team assisting with the full spectrum of facility and building management responsibilities. This position supports Air Force Weapons.

As a Facility Manager, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

• Assist in analyzing and advising the Government on internal space reorganizations addressing considerations and plans for space assignment.
• Interface and communicate with customers, contractors, and other Government officials.
• Asset management of all furniture and various equipment and accessories that are considered assets assigned to the facilities.
• Assist the Government Real Property Building Manager (RPBM) in performance of daily inspections of facilities, and the identification, reporting, and tracking of facility-related issues to resolution.
• Perform minor repair, and upkeep maintenance of an office building
• Performs a wide variety of activities associated with installing, maintaining, and servicing computer-related products at customer sites and providing technical support to customer in solving technical problems incurred in the installation or operation of company products.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Education - Must have training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school and 4 years of field service activity.
• Experience - Must have 3 to 10 years in facility management experience or equivalent.
• Must have an active DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large facility management.
• A strong understanding of the technical systems and equipment within a facility, along with proficiency in relevant management tools.
• Overseeing various projects related to facility operations, maintenance, and improvements.
• Skilled craftsman.
