Join the Serco team of highly skilled peers supporting the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS) on the Tactical Auxiliary General Ocean Surveillance (T-AGOS) class ships as well as SURTASS-E enabled vessels. Multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations. Multiple Positions.

Although operations are based in Norfolk Virginia, SURTASS routinely operates from ports in Glasgow Scotland, Rota Spain, Japan, Pearl Harbor Hawaii, Port Hueneme California, and many other ports of opportunity to include Yokohama Japan and Kure Japan (15 miles from the city of Hiroshima) Please provide your preferred work location in order of preference.

Qualifications
To be successful in these roles, you will have:
- An Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to be upgraded to a TS/SCI clearance level.
- US citizenship, in possession of a US valid driver's license, and a valid US passport, and ability to meet and maintain mariner physical fitness standards.
- Passed a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to travel and conduct short-term deployments as required.
- Independent self-starter experience in ship systems installations, upgrades, and repair activities. Experienced in supporting Mission Readiness Availabilities/ Mission Readiness Reviews.
- High School/GED, with 3 years' direct experience in C4I ship systems, electronics, and networks. Bachelor's Degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degrees.
Additional Desired Experience and Skills for other Positions:
- For Field Support Team: High School/GED, Navy C School, or Trade School, with 5 years' direct experience in C4I ship systems, electronics, and networks. Bachelor's Degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degrees.
- For Training Manager : 3 years' professional experience in curriculum development and a bachelor's degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degrees. Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and training tracking platforms; Training certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Association for Talent Development (ATD), or equivalent) are a plus.
- For QA Analyst: Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent and 3 years' professional experience as a QA Analyst and a bachelor's degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degrees.
- For Security Analyst : Associate degree, and CNSSI 4011 Certification, or AQD GA7 and 3 years' of direct COMSEC program experience as a Security Analyst and a bachelor's degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degrees.
- For Communication/Network Specialist : 5 years' of experience and knowledge with maintenance and repair of communication systems. Current IAT Level II, Security + or Cisco Security, and CCNA Certification or equivalent and a bachelor's degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degrees.
- For Electro-Mechanical Specialist : 3 years' of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Specialist and working knowledge and training must include hydraulic power and HVAC systems, and a bachelor's degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degrees.
- For Network Specialist , Security+ or Cisco Security, and CCNA Certification or equivalent is desired: 5 years' of working experience as a Network Specialist and bachelor's degree is desired. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree. 5 years of working experience in Windows networks and knowledge and experience with maintenance and repair of processing and communication systems including ICP, UNIX, LINUX, Windows, GPS. and GCCS-M. Additional Desired Experience and Skills:
- Previous SURTASS underway experience includes experience in maintenance, and providing troubleshooting and repair of communications, navigation, and sonar surveillance systems.
- Knowledge of and experience with multiple types of arrays including active and passive
- Navy operations, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance experience with secure networks, and sonar, navigation, and communications systems.
- Windows network roles require knowledge and experience with maintenance and repair of processing and communication systems including ICP, UNIX, LINUX, Windows, GPS. and GCCS-M. Communications systems include SHF, UHF SATCOM and LOS, HF, IFF, SECURE VOICE and DATA CRYPTOs, CMS, EKMS, KMI, SIPRNET, ADNS/CFCP, SIPR and NIPRNET.
- DoD 8140/8570 IT DoD Level III Certification
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time for most positions.
