Job Description

As a Security Professional - Bank Patrol in Farmington, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be the first point of contact for individuals entering the location, responding professionally to inquiries and situations as they arise. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a welcoming and protected atmosphere, while you utilize your communication skills and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed regarding incidents or observations.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers with inquiries, directions, and general information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
