- You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, considering the difficulty and requirements of the assignments, the type of work and existing workload.
- You will evaluate and assure the Quality Control (QC) efforts of the construction contractor for all projects assigned.
- You will ensure consistent and comprehensive coordination of the construction quality management program for construction projects assigned to his/her branch.
- You will attend selective quality control, preparatory and initial meetings to spot check compliance with contract requirements and establish consistency for the office.
- Establish consistent process in validating quantity, condition, and approval of materials on site prior to invoice payments
- You will ensure contractor compliance of safety and health requirements.
- You will maintain situational awareness and assist in coordination of OSHA jobsite visits.
- You will directly provide support to the Contract Specialist/Contracting Officer (CS/KO) relevant to the administration of construction contracts/task orders.
