Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will support the Business Transformation Group (BTG), which is focused on transforming data into actionable business intelligence to enhance decision-making and drive operational efficiency across the organization. This role requires a holistic, systems-level approach to problem-solving and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience utilizing modern tools and technologies to maximize the value of available data and deliver strategic insights.

• Identify and assess key internal and external data sources across the organization to support strategic business intelligence
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define meaningful metrics that effectively communicate business performance and uncover insights from data trends
• Design and enhance data visualizations, including dashboards and reports, to improve data accessibility
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and data management, preferably in a business or financial setting
• Proven knowledge and experience working with ServiceNow, Splunk, Power BI, SharePoint, Tableau, and customer-specific analytic tools
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerPoint and infographics)
• Experience with data collection, data maintenance, and data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets
• Ability to identify and leverage databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies
• Demonstrated experience with defining/adhering to data governance, data quality, and data integrity principles
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions to stakeholders
• Ability to work with large data sets and perform data analysis, data mining, and data cleansing
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools, such as data visualization software
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems

Qualifications

Required:

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
• BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to create original concepts and theories for various projects
• Technology Design - Adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs
• Ability to logically and systematically convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that account for technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Ability to analyze and study complex system requirements, for example:
  • Perform functional and timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
  • Apply concept-of-operations disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, and construction of information systems across a major sector of the organization
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
  • Experience with activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques
