SAIC is currently seeking Logistics Team Members to support SAIC's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) System Integration and Verification (SIV) Team.
This position is 100% on-site in Huntsville, AL. No travel is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This team is responsible for delivering logistics, supply chain management, and equipment accountability support for the IBCS Program. The position involves coordinating with military, civilian, and contractor personnel to ensure the proper accountability, storage, movement, and readiness of IBCS equipment in support of system integration, testing, and fielding missions.
- Support logistics planning, scheduling, and execution for IBCS equipment and material requirements
- Maintain accountability of IBCS assets through Army-approved tracking systems and inventory processes
- Assist with property book management, hand receipts, and government-furnished equipment accountability
- Coordinate the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of IBCS hardware, tools, and ancillary equipment
- Conduct inventories, inspections, and documentation in accordance with Army and program standards
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to move and stage equipment
- Support the movement, staging, and setup of IBCS system components for test events and integration efforts
- Provide logistics status reporting and input to program leadership regarding asset visibility, readiness, and risks
- Ensure compliance with all applicable program, Army, and DoD logistics and property accountability requirements
- Interface with supply, transportation, and warehouse activities to ensure timely delivery and supportability of assets
Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree and six years' experience; Additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Army logistics, supply chain management, or property accountability
- Proficiency with GCSS-Army, PBUSE, DPAS, or similar logistics/accountability systems
- Strong background in inventory management and material handling procedures
- Knowledge of Army supply procedures, hand receipt management, and property accountability
- Ability to prepare and maintain logistics records, reports, and tracking documentation
- Able to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance (heavier items may require team support/equipment assistance)
- Effective written and oral communications
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Forklift Certification
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Previous contracting experience with US Army Air Defense or C4I systems
- Familiarity with IBCS equipment, components, and fielding operations
- Experience supporting logistics in a test or integration environment
