Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified CMMI Administrator with an active Secret clearance to lead and support Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) initiatives across our programs. This role involves managing process improvement activities, ensuring compliance with CMMI Level 3+ practices, and preparing the organization for appraisals and audits. The ideal candidate will have experience working in defense, federal, or secure environments and be able to support both process implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance organizational process assets (OPAs) in alignment with CMMI for Development and/or Services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CMMI process compliance, training, and documentation
- Facilitate and support CMMI SCAMPI appraisals, audits, and internal assessments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement standardized processes and practices
- Monitor adherence to CMMI requirements across projects and recommend corrective actions
- Lead configuration management and process improvement documentation efforts
- Develop and deliver CMMI-related training and process rollout plans
- Collaborate with QA, PMO, and Engineering leads to embed CMMI practices into daily operations
Basic Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance (must be verifiable at the time of hire)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting or administering CMMI Level 3 or higher environments
- Deep understanding of CMMI frameworks (Development, Services, or both)
- Familiarity with process improvement tools and repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Git)
- Experience preparing for or supporting SCAMPI appraisals
- Strong documentation, communication, and training skills
- Knowledge of ISO, ITIL, or other process improvement frameworks is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified CMMI Associate, Practitioner, or Lead Appraiser (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with DoD, DHS, or federal government contracts
- Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, and hybrid development methodologies
- Certifications such as Security+, PMP, ITIL, or Lean Six Sigma
