Contract Overview
This position supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) under the IT Support Services contract. NSWCDD is responsible for delivering warfare systems to protect our nation and defeat our adversaries. The contract provides support for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and operations across classified and unclassified environments.

Contract Overview

The contract provides support for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and operations across classified and unclassified environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain complex Windows-based infrastructure across an organization.
- Design scalable and secure solutions that support enterprise applications, services, and user environments.
- Lead efforts to deploy and configure Windows servers, manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, and ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with security standards.
- Oversee automation initiatives using PowerShell or other scripting tools to streamline administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including network engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and application developers-to ensure seamless integration and support of IT systems.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies, often leading project teams through these initiatives.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and procedures, as well as mentoring junior engineers and administrators.
- Four (4) years of professional experience in relation to operating systems design and implementation for DoD programs with networked corporate environments using Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, storage systems (e.g. NetApp, EMC, VAST), and TCP/IP.
- Required Clearance Level: Top Secret
- Required Certification: IAT Level II
