We’re looking for an Aerospace Engineering Analyst who is detail-oriented and technically driven, with a strong commitment to advancing high-performance aerospace systems. This role will require a strong foundation in mechanical and aerospace engineering principles, proficiency with simulation tools, and the ability to communicate technical insights effectively across multidisciplinary teams—to ensure our spacecraft and payload systems meet the highest standards of innovation and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses using tools like SolidWorks Simulation, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, or FEMAP.
• Develop and refine models for FEA and simulation, helping to size and optimize spacecraft components.
• Support spacecraft design by modeling components and sub-assemblies in CAD.
• Prepare technical reports and present analysis results at internal and customer design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to solve technical challenges, and meet performance and reliability standards.
• Contribute to proposals and technical presentations for advanced aerospace projects.
• Contribute to algorithm development or light coding using Matlab or Mathematica.
• Engage with suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues and support technical interchange meetings.
Who You Are:
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related STEM field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with preference for experience in the space sector.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with one or more commercial simulation/analysis tools (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, FEMAP, Thermal Desktop, StarCCM+).
• Strong background in mechanical and aerospace engineering fundamentals (statics, dynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, material properties).
• Experience with Matlab or Mathematica for algorithm support or light coding. Four years preferred.
• Demonstrated experience authoring technical reports and presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Top Secret Security Clearance a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
