Job Description

As a Security Professional Healthcare Unarmed Patrol in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will also assist with access control and badge verification, contributing to the orderly flow of people within the facility. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are essential, as you interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and provide support as needed. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals at the location.
• Follow post orders and instructions from supervisors, adapting to the unique needs and conditions of the healthcare setting.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
