Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member; meet and greet clients and visitors; create and modify documents and perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, and data entry.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Administrative Assistant: $55,000 - $60,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities Include:
  • Order office supplies for each location.
  • Transcribes meeting notes.
  • Generates reports.
  • Handles multiple projects.
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions.
  • Organizes, assists, prepares for meetings, files, or communicates with other staff.
  • Assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.
  • Schedules appointments and meetings.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements.
  • Draft and proofread documents.
  • Maintains filing system.
  • Gives information to callers.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Administrative Assistant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Associate's degree.
  • 4 years of related experience.
  • Complete tasks in creative and effective ways.
  • Ability to learn and apply an advanced understanding of the organization and its functional policies and processes.
  • Ability to manage dynamic calendars for management, including event planning with external vendors.
  • Advanced writing skills to compose more difficult, detailed correspondence and to recommend updates to department documents as needed.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of two or more Microsoft Office/PC applications, depending upon department or business needs.
  • Have a working knowledge of email and office equipment (fax, phone, copier, etc.).
  • Requires ability to learn and apply an advanced understanding of a large, complex organization and its customers.
  • Some assignments may require Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
