Job Description
BAE Systens is seeking a Tier II Systems Administrator / IT Specialist seeking the opportunity to be part of a unique program supporting Federal Law Enforcement efforts. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide onsite Tier 2 technical support to 300+ network users between the core hours of 7 am - 6 pm. Additional responsibilities include, and are not limited to, setting up user accounts, imaging workstations, VPN accounts, asset management, research, reporting, records management, and escorting vendors. Taskings will be coordinated directly through the Service Desk Manager. The work requires a flexible person and willingness to adapt to changing mission requirements as well as an ability to learn, embrace new challenges and focus on problem solving, working as a team to develop soltuions.
A successful Tier 2 IT Specialist will be able to execute all Tier 1 service desk tasks plus be able to perform the following additional duties:

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

A successful Tier 2 IT Specialist will be able to execute all Tier 1 service desk tasks plus be able to perform the following additional duties:
- Account creation for VPN and RSA.
- Permission requests.
- Assignment-based imaging machines.
- Laptop configuration/ customization.
- Network configuration. (Hardware and Software)
- IT Workshop/event setups.
- License management.
- Non-SOP troubleshooting, including incident triage.
- Basic server administration to include rebooting, restarting services, checking event logs, checking backup services, executing
- Routine backups, and certificate generation.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- 5+ years of similar or related experience
- Experience with a variety of Operating Systems (OSs), including Windows/Mac/Linux OS.
- Knowledge of MS Office/MS Exchange/365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with RSA provisioning.
- Experience supporting a service desk enviornment
- Knowledge of mobile devices (Android/iOS) and SIM activation/deactivation.
- Experience with device imaging.
- Experience with advanced IT product troubleshooting and configuration analysis.
- Knowledge of server administration.
- Experience with security incident response.
- Experience with databases and networks (LAN, WAN).
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Possess professional working proficiency of Microsoft Office tools
- Have good organizational skills and exhibit strong attention to detail
- Be able to support multiple projects in unison
- Maintain flexibility and professionalism
- Able to lift 50lbs
