Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking an AWS Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of secure cloud environments for federal clients. The AWS Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting landing zone setup, and assisting with secure tenant onboarding. The role will also contribute to DevSecOps pipeline automation, system monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring that all solutions meet mission requirements, security standards, and enterprise objectives.

Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking an AWS Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of secure cloud environments for federal clients. The AWS Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting landing zone setup, and assisting with secure tenant onboarding. The role will also contribute to DevSecOps pipeline automation, system monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring that all solutions meet mission requirements, security standards, and enterprise objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including instances, networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging.
- Assist with AWS landing zone setup and secure tenant onboarding.
- Support cloud infrastructure development and implement ongoing system enhancements.
- Maintain and enhance DevSecOps pipelines, including CI/CD automation, deployment, and patching.
- Monitor data integrity, system reliability, and performance in SIPRNet cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system defects in coordination with the Lead Engineer.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for AWS implementations and enhancements.
- Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and contribute to CDRL deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance (minimum).
- 4+ years of experience supporting AWS cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with secure cloud design, compliance frameworks, and DISA/DCSA controls.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a cloud environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe development environments.
