Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Air Force implementation of DoD Zero Trust strategies
- Research emerging technologies to inform future architectures and solutions
- Develop transformational IT architectures using Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Collaborate with program engineers to translate customer requirements into actionable architectures
- Support the design, deployment, and evolution of secure networks and systems
- Build expertise in information security, cloud, and cyber systems design
- Apply data analytics and modeling tools to strengthen decision-making and network design
- Contribute to maintaining cyberspace superiority for the Air Force
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Secret clearance minimum
- HS diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience managing or operating enterprise-level networks or systems
- 2+ years of experience reviewing, analyzing, designing, or integrating IT systems or networks
- Experience working with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders
- Knowledge of Zero Trust methodologies and strategies
- Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of start date
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with an MBSE tool, such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Cameo Enterprise Architecture
- Experience with developing architecture using the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
- Experience with designing, deploying, and integrating enterprise information systems and services
- Experience working with senior leaders in the DAF
- Knowledge of Zero Trust implementation techniques and real-world employments
- ?Knowledge of DoD and AF network design, administration, and policies
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science
