Description
SAIC is seeking an accomplished and highly skilled Electrical Engineer Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will provide engineering, technical, and managerial expertise to address complex RF systems' problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation. This role involves oversight of an engineering team, making recommendations and advising on system development, improvements, and optimizations, as well as performing risk assessments and analyses using modeling and simulation techniques.
This position is contingent upon award expected in Fall 2025. This work will be performed at the customer site in Crane, IN.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Engineering and Technical Direction
• Support System Development and Improvement
• Support RF system optimization efforts by analyzing system performance and making requisite adjustments
• Provide ongoing technical support to ensure the system meets desired operational specifications and performance metrics
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments of RF systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats
• Employ modeling and simulation techniques to conduct detailed risk analyses and develop mitigation strategies
• Oversee Requirements Development
• Prepare documentation and technical reports
• Lead a team of engineers to ensure successful project execution and delivery
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in RF engineering or related roles, with a proven track record of success in complex system development and optimization
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and leadership abilities
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of RF principles, theories, and modern engineering practices
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools and software (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST, Matlab)
• Experience with designing, testing, and analyzing RF systems and components
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
• Must be a US citizen
• Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance
• Secret clearance preferred
