You'll be part of a team expanding monitoring solutions to secure and sensitive environments, helping scale and sustain real-time threat detection across decentralized ecosystems.
What You'll Do
- Deploy and manage detection bots across the Forta network
- Oversee Forta infrastructure components such as scan nodes, alert relays, and APIs
- Monitor system performance and bot availability, implementing alerting where needed
- Manage bot configuration, versioning, and CI/CD workflows
- Track key metrics including gas costs, execution stats, and chain coverage
- Support onboarding of new bots and liaise with Forta's core development community
- Route alerts into internal systems like Slack, Splunk, and PagerDuty
- Maintain internal documentation for bot operations and infrastructure management
- Work closely with engineers and security analysts to implement new detection capabilities
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or blockchain infrastructure
- Solid understanding of Forta architecture, including scan nodes and agent deployment
- Experience with Linux, Docker, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, or Node.js)
- Familiar with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
- Understanding of Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to operational details
- Holds DoD 8140 compliance and CompTIA Security+ (or higher)
- Active Secret Clearance required

- Hands-on experience deploying detection bots within the Forta ecosystem
- Familiarity with tools like Forta CLI, Forta Explorer, and the Forta Alert API
- Background in real-time detection systems or blockchain security
- Experience with alert forwarding technologies like Kafka, Webhooks, or message queues
- Prior work within crypto or blockchain-focused environments
