You'll be at the intersection of cybersecurity, Web3, and national defense, helping proactively identify and mitigate risks to digital infrastructure operating in highly secure environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop custom detection bots for the Forta network
- Write threat detection logic using TypeScript, Node.js, or Python
- Analyze smart contract behavior and transaction patterns to identify suspicious activity
- Maintain bot infrastructure and ensure high performance with minimal false positives
- Collaborate with Forta's core team and community to improve detection strategies
- Integrate Forta alerts with incident response tools and internal dashboards
- Continuously refine bots based on evolving threats and detection trends
- Stay informed on emerging vulnerabilities, blockchain exploits, and zero-day threats
- Work alongside smart contract developers, security researchers, and response teams
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or blockchain development
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python
- Comfortable analyzing EVM smart contracts and understanding Ethereum transactions
- Familiarity with Forta architecture, agent development, and deployment workflows
- Strong grasp of common blockchain security risks (e.g., MEV, reentrancy, flash loan exploits)
- Ability to read and audit Solidity-based contracts
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal
- Holds DoD 8140 compliance and CompTIA Security+ (or higher)
- Active Secret Clearance required

- Experience with blockchain data indexing tools like The Graph, Alchemy, or Ethers.js
