Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager (PM) to provide leadership, direction, and oversight across multiple IT projects within a dynamic federal environment. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of technical solutions, alignment with program objectives, and efficient execution of project schedules and resources.
The PM will collaborate closely with contracting officers, senior leadership, IT support staff, and customers to oversee project planning, execution, and reporting. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational success, and ensure projects remain on time, within budget, and mission-focused.
Program Manager Required Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and oversee multiple complex IT initiatives in support of federal agencies
* Manage project cost, schedule, and performance to ensure mission objectives are achieved
* Coordinate and lead diverse teams of technical and support personnel
* Provide technical and executive-level project briefs to senior leadership
* Develop and deliver technical and financial project reports
* Apply project management methodologies, including Agile and Agile-Hybrid approaches, to public sector environments
* Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including CIOs and contracting officials
* Balance competing priorities and drive decisions that align with program goals
Project Manager Required Skills and Experience:
* Active Secret Clearance
* 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager supporting federal agencies
* Expertise in project planning, execution, and oversight
* Experience with Microsoft Project and related project management tools
* Strong knowledge of Agile and Agile-Hybrid project management methodologies
* Demonstrated leadership in managing federal IT initiatives
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project Manager Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor's degree, or higher, in an IT- or business-related field
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
* ITIL v4 (preferred)
* Agile certification(s) (preferred)
* Sec+ (preferred)

Security Clearance:
