A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Manage and oversee data management activities across multiple projects
• Implement prioritization of requests and communicate schedules to stakeholders, including customers
• Create and maintain program data library asset databases
• Ensure timely and accurate release of deliverables and program documents
• Coordinate with authors and project managers to meet deadlines and special handling requirements
• Provide education on naming conventions and document format standards
• Promote consistency in documentation standards across projects
• Perform technical editing of program documentation to comply with deliverable templates
• Identify and correct grammar, spelling, and formatting errors in deliverables
• Create locked working templates for engineers and program managers using Microsoft Office tools
• Conduct all aspects of documentation and data management for multiple projects
• Review and report on program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness
• Collaborate with team members to upgrade standards and best practice guidelines
• Develop and implement review cycle plans, ensuring classified documents are marked appropriately
• Facilitate board meetings, keeping notes and updating based on charters and process documents
• Audit test configurations and witness test events
• Support internal process audits and provide feedback to strengthen process documentation
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance (in-scope, required at start)
• In-depth knowledge of data management practices
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and experience in program contract review to determine documentation requirements for each work product and project phase
• Experience creating, updating, and auditing process documentation
• Experience providing guidance, coaching, and training to employees
• Strong knowledge and experience managing documentation libraries
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and effective presentation skills
• Ability to work independently under general direction with high attention to detail
• U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced degree in Data Management or related disciplines (e.g., Business Administration, Business Management)
• Experience with SharePoint Administration
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively within and outside the organization
• Experience editing DoD and Air Force contract deliverables
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-963C, GEIA-859, and DoD 5010.12-M for data management
