About The Role
Responsible for the integration, installation, testing, evaluation, documentation and verification of end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. This role includes the responsibility of overseeing technical advancements in audio/visual communication systems and has key focus areas including the integration of LIDAR technology, 3D photogrammetry, and Li-Fi technology.

Details
Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Program Overview
About The Role
Responsible for the integration, installation, testing, evaluation, documentation and verification of end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. This role includes the responsibility of overseeing technical advancements in audio/visual communication systems and has key focus areas including the integration of LIDAR technology, 3D photogrammetry, and Li-Fi technology.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and implement technical development projects pertaining to LAN/WAN communications.
- Review, analyze, and author security documentation, including the System Security Plan (SSP), ensuring compliance with industry, organizational, and security standards.
- Evaluate and update software and hardware versions for communications systems, ensuring up-to-date functionality and security.
- Provide system troubleshooting and resolution for anomalies related to network communications.
- Coordinate technical demonstrations for cross-functional teams related to A/V communications, LIDAR, 3D Photogrammetry, and Li-Fi technologies.
- Execute project management tasks, including tracking product deadlines and deliverables, submitting monthly highlights to parent organization, as well as developing and reviewing comprehensive documentation for projects.
- Review and create organizational records, including briefing materials and charters outlining contractor goals for upcoming fiscal years.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure that resources are adequately accounted for and utilized efficiently.
- Participates in design reviews of components to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
- Evaluates the performance of the system, developing special test jigs as necessary to gather pertinent performance data, working closely with System Engineers to understand where performance improvements can be developed.
- Follows and refines testing practices, policies, and procedures to best optimize the overall system verification process.
