Peraton's Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Systems/Sys Admin Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile scrum team and will be responsible for integrating and troubleshooting deployed systems.

Details
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
Peraton's Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Systems/Sys Admin Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile scrum team and will be responsible for integrating and troubleshooting deployed systems.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement
- Significant experience administering Linux or other UNIX-based systems.
- Experience working with Alpine or other container-based operating environments.
- Skilled in working with DevOps or DevSecOps teams to deploy and troubleshoot systems
- Experience creating and maintaining shell scripts, including Python and Bash
- Managing SSH access and security policies across a hybrid environment.
- TS/SCI with current poly
- Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user and systems administrator
