Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting an Executive Assistant to join our team at Quantico, VA. This is an onsite position and requires daily performance at MCBQ. SVCG is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive senior support specialist to join our team. This position plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by managing correspondence, coordinating meetings and events, supporting travel, handling administrative functions, and ensuring proper task tracking and documentation. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while navigating a fast-paced and dynamic environment. ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
-Proactively manage calendars and schedules for senior leaders, ensuring priorities are met and conflicts are avoided
-Coordinate and support meetings, conferences, and events by arranging logistics, preparing agendas and briefing materials, and capturing minutes and action items
-Draft, review, and finalize correspondence, reports, and presentation materials with accuracy and professionalism, aligned with DoD standards
-Track action items and suspense dates, maintain documentation on share drives, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
-Manage complex domestic and international travel through the Defense Travel System (DTS), including authorizations, vouchers, itineraries, and compliance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)
-Serve as a liaison for senior leadership, coordinating communication across internal and external organizations to ensure alignment and seamless execution
-Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as phone coverage, supply management, visitor coordination, and classified/unclassified document handling
-Submit and track IT and facility requests, providing timely updates to requestors
-Process and manage visit requests for classified meetings through DISS
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent years of applicable experience)
-5+ years of experience
-Secret Security clearance
-Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Familiarity with DoD systems such as ETMS2, SharePoint, DTS, and DISS
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
-Professionalism, discretion, and reliability in working with sensitive information
-Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and coordinate high-level meetings and events
-Experience supporting senior military or government executives
