Senior Full Stack Engineer

District Partners is exclusively representing a specialized consulting group supporting a federal agency in the midst of a large technology transformation. This team is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep Java expertise to deliver scalable enterprise applications. Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.

Clearance Requirement

U.S. Citizenship required with an active Public Trust clearance or higher .

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using Java (Spring Boot, Jakarta, Spring Framework) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Build and consume REST APIs for robust integration.
• Deliver across the SDLC: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, support.
• Lead microservices development and containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Harness).
• Integrate AI/ML services into delivery frameworks.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture.

Technology and Qualification Requirements

• 7+ years (BS) or equivalent (15-20 HS, 13-18 AA, 5-9 MS, 3-7 PhD).
• Strong Java and OOP (Spring Boot, Spring).
• Messaging frameworks: gRPC, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
• CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Containers and orchestration.

Preferred

• AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS).
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Distributed tools: Hadoop, Spark, Impala, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Solr.
• Agile/Scrum practices and SDLC expertise.
