We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders, executive leadership, and industry partners. In this role, you will ensure program execution is fully aligned with customer priorities and operational strategy while driving collaboration across technical and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution & Leadership
Lead cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, procurement, and development.
Define project scope, milestones, and key performance indicators in partnership with government customers, research labs, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure program execution aligns with customer objectives and integrated operations strategy.
Represent the organization with the PMO, government agencies, and subcontractors.
Budget & Contract Management
Lead budget planning, financial tracking, and cost analysis.
Manage program contracts in compliance with DoD acquisition guidelines (FAR/DFARS).
Oversee subcontractor performance, vendor coordination, and procurement activities to ensure cost-effective execution.
Technical & Strategic Oversight
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
Ensure technical deliverables meet program requirements, schedule, and quality standards.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement throughout the program lifecycle.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition regulations, export control laws, and internal policies.
Identify, track, and mitigate program risks; develop contingency plans as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience managing DoD contracts and programs.
Proven background in budget management, contract execution, and subcontractor/vendor oversight.
Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, including FAR/DFARS.
Demonstrated success leading Integrated Project Teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Experience with drones, UAVs, or aerospace systems.
