Facility Utilization Planner

Research, analyze and develop recommendations for the most efficient use of facility space. Personnel will contribute to by inputting, updating, and maintaining data in their Enterprise Business Systems including TRIRIGA and BUILDERTM Sustainment Management Systems. Conduct TRIRIGA and SMS data entry, data analysis, data quality assurance, data quality control, and data integration. Assist in the preparation of space utilization recommendations, reports, responses to customer queries, validation of space requirements, and presentations. Provide recommendations and advice on future facility repairs and investments in accordance with asset management principles.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Facility Utilization Planner: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Facility Utilization Planner Responsibilities Include:
  • Researches, analyzes, and provides recommendations on efficient facility space utilization.
  • Validates customer requirements related to space requests.
  • Interacts with senior government personnel to determine requirements and provide feedback on potential courses of action.
  • Receives, processes, conducts data entry, data analysis, data quality assurance, data quality control, and data integration of Real Property and facility operations data in an Enterprise Business System (EBS).
  • Prepares reports and presentations in support of customer objectives.
  • Assists in data analysis to form the bases of recommendations for facility investment strategies.
  • Reviews and analyzes EBS data for accuracy.
  • Performs record management and archiving duties as needed.
  • Provides facility reports, customer service documentation and other supporting documents.
  • Interacts with personnel, facility managers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilizes TRIRIGA Platform to perform facility space analysis, allocation and authorization reviews, and real property data assessments.
  • Analyzes unit authorized and allocated space; formulates recommendations to close gaps, excesses, and deficiencies between them, per AF Standards.
  • Gathers requirements, analyzes CATCODES, documents unit mission requirements, and staffing authorizations under the Spiral One Facility Space Management Program.
  • Reviews & interprets policy & standards; calculates facility space customer authorization and assign facility allocations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Facility Utilization Planner Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field is required and minimum of 5 years of related experience. Skilled at utilizing TRIRIGA an BUILDER Sustainment Management Systems.
  • Working knowledge of NexGen (TRIRIGA/BUILDER).
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use word processing programs, spreadsheets and basic e-mail programs.
  • Ability to research requests, identifies and trouble shoot possible problems.
  • Skilled in reviewing space plans, construction plans, and drawings.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI/SF85 for unescorted access to controlled areas.
  • Requires a Common Access Card (CAC) or the ability to obtain one through a federal security investigation.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
