In this role, you will be a beacon of support by:
- Providing a lifeline through face-to-face, supportive counseling to address a range of challenges, from daily stress to life-altering grief and loss.
- Delivering hope and resilience by assisting with health and wellness presentations, working alongside installation command staff to tackle pressing behavioral health concerns.
- Ensuring the program's success by working closely with military branch Points of Contact (POCs) to meet the unique needs of the assigned installation.
- Being the supportive presence that helps military families navigate life's challenges, including reintegration after deployment, marital concerns, and parenting issues.
Minimum Requirements:
We are seeking a dedicated professional with the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA).
- A valid, unrestricted counseling license is required, preferably in the state of Oklahoma; however, licenses from other states may also be considered.
- Eligible license types include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, and LMHC.
- Please note: LADC and LMSW license types are NOT eligible, and clinicians under supervision may NOT apply.
- A deep understanding of military lifestyles and hands-on experience working with military family members.
- The ability to work independently to develop, implement, and evaluate safety and intervention plans tailored to individual and family needs.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to pass all background/suitability checks, including additional installation-specific requirements.
- Desired Experience:
- Previous military service or strong familiarity with military culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
