Are you passionate about investigating RF and microwave challenges and working with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions? As an RF and Microwave Engineer on our team, you will be at the forefront of technology-designing, developing, integrating, and testing RF circuits, antennas, and other RF and microwave elements into comprehensive systems for signal collection missions.

You'll join a highly skilled team dedicated to creating innovative solutions for national security applications. As an RF and microwave engineer, you'll guide the architecture and implementation of RF solutions and analysis.

You will address complex problems using practical engineering principles and methodologies, delivering solutions that redefine what's possible in RF engineering. You will have autonomy to make impactful decisions, technically contribute and help shape technical project directions. You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience with RF or microwave circuit design, including amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filters, and antennas, and metrics such as SNR and NF
  • 1+ years of experience with RF measurement tools, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
  • 1+ years of experience with MATLAB or Python, and GitHub for signal processing applications and sof tware or algorithm development
  • 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting and debugging RF hardware
  • Ability to use or learn to use RF simulation tools such as Microwave Office, HFSS, or FEKO
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to obtain a TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics


Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with advanced RF and microwave design techniques such as electromagnetic ( EM ) simulation
  • 1+ years of experience leading and managing small to medium-sized engineering teams
  • Knowledge of lab automation and scripting to streamline testing processes and data acquisition
  • Knowledge of wireless communication standards such as LTE, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth
  • Knowledge of RF photonics
  • Knowledge of signal processing techniques and algorithms
  • Ability to display an eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment and adapt to evolving technical needs
  • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
