Job Summary:
Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager (PM) to serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the customer and provide strategic leadership and direction for all contractor personnel assigned to the program. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution, performance, and delivery of all program requirements, with accountability for both technical outcomes and business processes.
This role requires exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to drive quality, efficiency, and mission success.
Program Manager Required Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, manage, and report on the Program Management Plan (PMP) to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, cost, and performance objectives
* Oversee all aspects of program execution, including technical performance, business processes, and contract deliverables
* Ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness across diverse labor categories and complex program requirements
* Prepare and deliver program status briefings, financial updates, and risk assessments to senior government officials
* Serve as the primary point of contact (POC), providing leadership and guidance to all contractor personnel on the program
* Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission goals and objectives
Program Manager Required Skills and Experience:
* Active Secret clearance required (Top Secret/SCI may be required)
* 10+ years of program/project management experience, with at least 5 years managing federal IT infrastructure or cloud programs
* Proven experience managing federal infrastructure programs and DoD/USCG IT systems
* Strong background in contract management, including oversight of diverse labor categories and performance metrics
* Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure services, including networks, servers, storage, cloud, virtualization, cybersecurity, and help desk operations
* Expertise in IT service management and enterprise frameworks (ITIL, DESMF, TBM)
* Ability to apply and integrate industry frameworks and standards, including ITIL, DESMF, and TBM
* Prior experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard and/or DHS preferred
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Program Manager Required Education & Certifications:
* BS/BA in IT, Engineering, Business or related field (Required)
* MS/MA in IT, Engineering, Business or related field (Required)
* CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification (Required)
* Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Required)
* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4.0 Certification (Required)
* Technology Business Management (TBM) Certification (Required)
