Field Service Representative – Advanced Maritime Surveillance Systems
Overview
We are seeking highly motivated Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to support the installation, integration, and sustainment of advanced maritime surveillance systems in overseas operational environments. The role involves working hands-on with commercial sensor platforms and government-developed modules to establish persistent coastal and port-area monitoring capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy overseas to install, configure, and maintain maritime surveillance system nodes.
Conduct system setup, calibration, and verification in field environments.
Perform hardware and software troubleshooting; replace or repair system components as needed.
Integrate sensors into distributed networks and verify operational data flows.
Provide training and technical support to system operators and partner organizations.
Document installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
Deliver operational feedback to engineering teams to improve future deployments.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in electronics, radar, RF systems, networking, or related technical fields.
Prior experience with field service, system integration, or deployment of complex technical systems.
Strong knowledge of IP networking, system cabling, and hardware/software interfaces.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in austere or maritime environments.
Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods (50–75% travel expected).
U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Military experience in radar, electronic warfare, avionics, or similar technical specialties.
Prior overseas deployment experience supporting technical systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and operator training.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal direct supervision.
