MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an AV-VTC Technician IV, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of in support of our customers. You will play a crucial role in :

Lead / Manage / Support

• Provide leadership and oversight for all audio-visual and video teleconference (VTC) operations.
• Manage scheduling, coordination, and execution of VTC sessions to ensure mission requirements are met.
• Support technical teams and end-users by troubleshooting and resolving issues in real time.

Collaborate With

• Work closely with program managers, IT support teams, site leads, and end-users to ensure seamless communication.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and partner organizations to maintain equipment readiness and system compatibility.
• Engage with leadership to align AV-VTC operations with organizational goals.

Drive & Resolve Challenges

• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting VTC sessions, including connectivity, hardware, and software problems.
• Proactively address recurring challenges by implementing long-term solutions and documenting best practices.
• Adapt quickly to changes in operational tempo, mission priorities, or system availability.

Utilize Tools and Skills

• Apply knowledge of AV systems, networking fundamentals, and communication platforms.
• Use diagnostic tools and monitoring software to ensure operational readiness.
• Employ leadership, organizational, and customer service skills to support both routine and high-visibility events

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Audio Visual and Video Teleconference
• Security clearance level: Secret
