As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Morning Shift in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment by monitoring and controlling entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing a strong presence throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include verifying credentials, assisting visitors and staff, and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism. You will also help to deter unauthorized access and loss by remaining visible and approachable, while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility to maintain compliance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by communicating security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
