GS-7 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing administrative office security support, monitoring and troubleshooting electronic security systems, intrusion detection systems, alarms, mass notification, and closed circuit television systems.

- You will monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) screens for unauthorized activity/activation based on images displayed.
- You will monitor and operate a Mass Notification System (MNS) to ensure proper dissemination of emergency mass notification messages and ensure proper operation of system.
- You will maintain alarm control log of all alarm conditions to include setting, resetting, activation, and deactivation to ensure alarms are not malfunctioning.
- You will utilize Symmetry Security Management System to monitor, troubleshoot, manage, and control site security electronic systems.
- You will operate a variety of office automation equipment, including copy machines, facsimile machines, networked computers, laser printers, shredders, scanners, and other electronic equipment.
- You will ensure call rosters on key personnel are accurate and maintain complete and accurate listing of all Fire/Smoke alarm boxes.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours and rotating shifts will be required.
- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- You must meet the qualifications and be certified to carry a firearm. You will need to maintain firearm proficiency.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Incumbent must pass a medical evaluation and pass periodic re-tests as required.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S Government emergency vehicle operators license.
- You will be required to complete the MCESS training as provided by the physical security section.
