Nightwing is seeking a Logistics & Support Analyst to join an exciting new opportunity. The Logistics & Support Analyst will assist in the evaluation of logistics-related activities for operational adequacy, support the development and update of integrated logistics support plans, define program scope and objectives, and organizes, coordinates, and implements the program, independently develop and ensure requirements and implementation strategies comply with logistics directives, best practices and supportability parameters, provide technical and analytical guidance on logistics matters to the program office and onsite engagement teams, and as principal representative supporting the Logistics Chief, provides status updates to the Government on logistics operations.
The Logistics & Support Analyst will develop and ensure requirements and implementation strategies comply with logistics directives, best practices and supportability parameters, perform and coordinate detailed analysis of logistics activities to ensure integration support considerations are captured in the planning process, and recommend and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of logistics issues.
The Logistics & Support Analyst will develop and maintain relationships with deployment team members, create, maintain, update, and reconcile shipping tracking and delivery documentation, logistic activities status and schedules, assist in identifying and prioritizing logistics requirements, research, compile, and interpret historical logistics documentation, and organize, prioritize, and summarize the content of received deliveries and shipments of materials, field kits, and other types of packages.
Provide technical assistance to support multiple locations within Threat Hunt. Assist, establish, and maintain adequate stockage levels for mission accomplishment. Conduct quarterly inventories of assigned equipment, and initiate actions for disposition excess property. Also make recommendations for changes to the required supply list. Continue to develop standard operating procedures and support administrative duties related to the daily mission
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
- Managing and supporting shipments of equipment to/from client facilities
- Inspecting in-coming shipments and equipment
- Applying customer asset tags to equipment and updating asset management databases
- Working with various vendors to assure equipment purchased meets customer requirements to include TAA compliance, etc.
- Performing a wide variety of tasks relating to the acquisition of materials, merchandise and subcontractors.
- Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential delivery problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed
- Working with internal and external onsite/offsite to include Logistics Engineers to support our customer's inventory control
Required Skills:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret security clearance
- Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
- Must be able to lift 50 pound items unaided
- Must be able to be certified for DOT/IATA Hazardous Materials and Electrostatic Discharge safety
- Experience with asset management databases
- Experience with transporting high value equipment
- Ability to work independently on a multitude of assigned tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong team player.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications
- Must be able to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locations
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of inventory, material tracking and status related to logistical process and procedures.
- Experience with Supply Chain, Security, Project Planning and Logistics.
- Experience working in supply chain systems (PRISM, ISAMS, etc.)
- Ability to ensure compliance with FAR regulation, company policy, and program run-rules
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a business, or related discipline with 5+ years of logistics & support experience or 7+ years logistics & support experience with a High school diploma
