A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Network/Systems Engineer to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA!
This is 100% on site and you must have an active secret clearance
Seeking an E4 Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent;
Design and Implementation: The network engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet.
Network Devices: Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Network Security: The network engineer will ensure the security of the network by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures to protect against unauthorized access and malicious activity.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: The network engineer will troubleshoot and resolve network issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure that the network is running efficiently and effectively.
Collaboration and Communication: The network engineer will work with other teams, such as IT and cybersecurity, to ensure that network infrastructure meets business needs and will communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Staying Up-to-Date with Technology: The network engineer will stay current with the latest network technologies, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the network infrastructure and services.
