Job Title: Entry Level Software Engineer (09042025)

Onsite Requirements:

Job Description:
* Under direct supervision, helps design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software programs for computer-based systems.
* Assists in evaluating/determining user needs with the maintenance of single-product models and subsystems.
* Performs routine systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
* As required, provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs.
* Primarily interfaces with intra-organizational staff with infrequent contact with inter-organizational staff and outside customers and vendors on routine matters.
* Supports maintenance and or new application development under supervision of technical leadership.
Basic Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related engineering discipline
* 0-2 years' experience in software development or maintenance
* Software Engineering experience or familiarity with Java or C++
* Familiar with Agile development methodologies
Preferred Requirements:
* Familiar with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins
* Familiar with Linux and UNIX development and test environments
* Familiar with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse or VSCode
* Familiar with UML syntax and its use in Model-based tools like Rapsody
* Familiar with Git version control system
* Familiar with issue tracking systems like JIRA or Trello
* Familiarity with any of the following:
* XUnit architecture testing fir unit testing like Google Test, jUnit, cppUnit Lite
* Tcl/Tk
* Ada
* Atlassian tool suite including Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence
* Data Distribution Service (DDS)
* DevSecOps and Automation tool experience like SonarQube and Jenkins
