Senior Lead Server Engineer

The Senior Lead Server Engineer will provide datacenter leadership, modernization, and technical oversight across all server systems. Responsibilities include managing server environments, monitoring core applications, supporting COOP/DRP operations, and implementing Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. The role involves designing and optimizing enterprise architectures, supporting capital equipment planning, and ensuring alignment with client mission objectives.

This role requires advanced technical knowledge of server engineering practices, lifecycle management, and system integration methodologies. The Senior Lead Server Engineer will supervise staff, lead datacenter projects, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable server infrastructures. Onsite presence in Washington, DC, is required three days a week.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of server engineering experience.
Certifications such as MCSE, VMware Professional, or equivalent.
Expertise in datacenter operations, cloud readiness, server monitoring, and disaster recovery.
Experience with system architecture, business process improvement, and enterprise integration.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
