The National Security Sector (NSS) seeks qualified and trained Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the program's quality assurance programs and systems. This role ensures that all products and services meet or exceed both internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, safeguarding customer satisfaction and the company's reputation. The QA Specialist analyzes quality data, conducts surveys, and leads corrective action initiatives.

**Individual in this role will participate in a robust cross training program and be certified and willing to support surge requirements by serving in mission critical roles across the JOC, if required. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award.
 

What you’ll be doing:
  • Establish quality standards: Develop and implement the company's overall quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for products and services.
  • Team leadership: Manage, mentor, and train the quality assurance team, including QA engineers, analysts, and inspectors.
  • Oversee quality processes: Plan and manage the execution of product and service testing throughout the entire development and production lifecycle.
  • Conduct audits: Lead internal quality audits and participate in external regulatory and customer audits to ensure compliance.
  • Analyze data: Collect, analyze, and summarize quality data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify process gaps, perform root-cause analysis on defects, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Regulatory compliance: Stay current on all relevant laws and industry regulations and ensure the program remains compliant.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, engineering, and product development, to address quality concerns
  • Supplier management: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure that incoming materials meet quality standards.
  • Documentation and reporting: Prepare and present regular quality reports and findings to senior management and other stakeholders.


What does Leidos need from me?
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph is required. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Six plus years’ experience in Quality Assurance, or related fields, preferably within the DoD or Intelligence Community.  
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of quality frameworks and collaborative technologies (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, JIRA).
  • Demonstrated experience working in high-tempo, classified environments within DoD or intelligence agencies, and possess excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with the ability to craft SOPs, TTPs, briefings, and executive documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in support of USCYBERCOM J3 senior leadership.


Favorable if you have:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field. 
  • Certified Quality Assurance training.
  • Intimate familiarity with USCYBERCOM organizational structure and operational environment. 
  • Deep experience implementing Quality, conducting process improvement initiatives, and best practices.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
