The National Security Sector (NSS) seeks a Program Operations Manager to help drive United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) mission by providing the PM and Deputy PM operational support to execute delivery of services in a highly complex and fast paced 24x7x365 cyber operational environment.
**This role will participate in a robust cross training program and be certified and willing to support surge requirements by serving in mission critical roles across the JOC, if required. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award.

What you’ll be doing:
- At the direction of the PM, manage the daily operations of the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure exceptional delivery of contract requirements to the USCYBERCOM J3.
- Assist the PM with ensuring CDRLs, best practices, processes are monitored and continuously improved. Build quality into every phase of operations and implement a no-fail quality assurance process for all deliverables.
- Support the PM to lead & supervise contractor personnel assigned to the PMO and manage all PMO activities.
- Supports the PM to guide on-going technical efforts, including integration of technical innovations into customer organization.
- Supports the PM to interface with senior military and Government personnel, while developing and nurturing internal relationships with Leidos corporate leadership, functional leaders, and team members.
- Supports preparation of complex charts, tables, graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing and effectively presenting information for both highly technical and lay audiences.
- Supports the PM to review program risk and risk mitigation activities and proposes budgets for the same.
- Assists the PM to evaluate, analyze, and propose operational and technical alternatives in concert with senior Government and military leadership that provide for potential on-contract growth.
- Supports the PM by serving as the program POC to corporate Operations and prepares all corporate deliverables such as IPRs.
- Assists the PM by leading completion and ensuring quality control of MSRs.
- Provides support to the PM by building and maintain a Workforce Reporting Tool.
- Assists the PM with program innovation efforts.
- Will be prepared to assume the duties of the DPM should the need arise.
What does Leidos need from me?
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph is required.
- BA/BS Degree from accredited college or university in any field related to support to government contracting or business management and 12 plus years’ experience leading organizations within Department of Defense (DoD) or United States Government. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 10 plus years’ experience as a manager in a program of similar scope and complexity.
- Ability to provide timely, accurate, relevant analytic documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings.
- Demonstrated proficiency working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, ability to proactively multi-task and meet short deadlines.
- Possess strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex and technical data to technical and nontechnical consumers.
Favorable if you have:
- Prior experience supporting USCYBERCOM, a JFHQ-C, Service Cyber Component / JFHQ-C.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of contract award.
- Prior experience as leader of Cyber operational element (ex. OPT lead or CMT/CST/CPT/NMT).
- Demonstrate familiarity with key national security documents as they pertain to Cyberspace Operations to include the National Security Strategy, National Military Strategy, and the National Defense Strategy, in addition to national-level guidance specific to Cyberspace Operations.
- Possess prior experience with Joint or Combined operations across multiple warfighting domains.
- Familiar with art of Data Science and applicability to CO.
- Familiar with Microsoft Power BI data visualization software.
- Desired Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security, COMPTIA CySA+, COMPTIA Security + CE, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
