SAIC is seeking an Operations Lead to support ourIntegrated Battle Command Systems (IBCS) team in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Lead IBCS Inc 2 operations across live operations, training, test events, and fielding.
- Translate mission intent into executable plans, readiness assessments, and risk mitigation.
- Serve as the primary interface with S3I and operational users.
- Guide and mentor Field Support Representatives (FSRs) to ensure proper training and mission alignment.
- Establish and enforce the operational battle rhythm, including reporting cadence and escalation protocols.
- Develop and standardize CONOPS, TTPs, and SOPs to ensure continuity across missions.
- Lead after-action reviews to capture lessons learned and drive improvements.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Must possess a Bachelors degree and eighteen (18) years' experience; Six (6) additional years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance; Top Secret security clearance eligibility preferred. US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of operational leadership experience, with background in planning, coordination, and mission execution.
- Experience leading or supporting complex technical systems in operational environments.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with ability to brief senior leaders and synchronize across stakeholders.
