Background

• Analyze, coordinate, develop, test, and maintain clinical and operational systems exchanging data via HL7, DICOM, and other interface protocols
• Support proprietary and industry standard interfaces between clinical equipment, servers, software and outside entities
• Provide support for electronic medical records system interfaces including configuration and troubleshooting
• Communicate changes or new initiatives and key issues to supervisors, physicians, and staff
• Assume special projects as directed and document them appropriately
• Provide support for all clinical and business applications as well as network, server and user hardware

Requirements

• 2 years clinical interface engineering experience and two years with a healthcare client or a healthcare related environment
• Complex project management experience
• In depth knowledge of EMRs
• Experience with database and programming languages
• Experience administering interfaces

Preferred

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team with staff at various levels
• Must have certification : CorePoint, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, or Mirth
