• You will troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, modify, test, align, and adjust complex electronic equipment and systems.

• You will utilize measuring and testing equipment for the repair of ship/submarine systems.
• You will communicate clearly with others verbally and in writing to ensure clarity of mission and objectives.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain an IT-Level II designation.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
• Incumbent may be required to work overtime, second, or third shift. Incumbent may be required to work odd hours (shift may start outside normal working hours to support the needs of the mission).
• Incumbent may be required to deploy for worldwide travel to remote locations and requires the ability to obtain a passport.
• Additional physical screenings may be required.

Overhaul, install, modify, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.

Interpret drawings and schematic diagrams to repair electronic equipment.

Additional information

You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Workers frequently lift and carry unassisted items weighing up to 40 pounds. Workers are sometimes required to lift and carry items weighing up to 110 pounds with the help of weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers.

The position may require long periods of standing, climbing, stooping and moving in and out of areas of close confinement.
