Technical Operations Team Lead-COMSEC/Data Port

The Opportunity

NTS is seeking a Technical Operations Team Lead - COMSEC/Data Port. This role will oversee the planning, installation, integration, and maintenance of COMSEC (Communications Security) systems and port data solutions in support of U.S. government operations. Thier leadership will ensure the seamless operation of critical communication networks, including VHF/UHF/SATCOM radio systems, and associated COMSEC devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on the design, integration, and optimization of COMSEC and port data systems, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and security protocols.
• System Integration & Support: Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware (e.g., Harris, Raytheon, Kenwood, Motorola, ITT Exelis) and software solutions (e.g., ATAK, WAVE, ATIS), conducting thorough testing to validate system performance.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to define system requirements, develop implementation plans, and deliver tailored communication solutions that meet operational objectives.
• Training & Mentorship: Conduct training sessions for U.S. government personnel and contractors, enhancing their proficiency in system operation and maintenance.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure compliance and facilitate future support efforts.
• Field Operations: Perform on-site assessments and provide real-time solutions to address technical challenges in dynamic and austere environments.
