TITLE: Tactical Radio Embedded Software Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $50/hr - $60/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: Secret, obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements
LOCATION: Colorado Spring CO 80906 OR Ft. Wayne, Indiana 46804 (no relocation package)

As a Tactical Radio Embedded Software Engineer for Advanced Electronics Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and building uniquely resilient hardware and software to ensure mission success in contested environments.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Develop and maintain embedded software applications using C/C++ programming language
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components
Perform debugging, testing, and optimization of embedded systems
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices
Document software design, code, and unit tests
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company processes
Exceptional experience with C and/or C++
Proven experience with low-level driver development
Experience with unit test frameworks
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C)
ADDITIONAL SKILLS You May Have, Or Skills You Are Willing To Learn
Signal processing and digital signal processing (DSP)
Programming languages such as Rust, Python, MATLAB
Advanced Linux operating systems knowledge (Drivers, networking, system services, etc.)
Multi-threaded and multi-core programming
Network protocols and socket programming
Cryptographic techniques and secure boot
Power management in embedded systems
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) git pipelines
Agile experience preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
